The Choose With Care® kit is a user friendly handbook and video package that provides a wide range of child protection strategies. It is a 12 step program that provides practical child protection strategies including managing risk, improving recruitment and selection, appropriate reporting procedures, and legal responsibilities.

This booklet aims to assist parents to choose "child safe" organisations, programs or clubs for their children.

The guide tells parents what to look for when selecting an organisation or activity program for their children. Using specialist knowledge of child sex offenders and how they operate, Child Wise provides parents with information and questions to determine how organisations select, screen and manage staff and volunteers.

Speaking for Themselves interviewed young people between the ages of 16 and 29 years. The research outlines the needs of these young people who are caught in a web of sex work, drugs, homelessness and violence; dominant themes in the lives of these young people and recommendation for the provision of services.

Two years after the First World Congress Against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children was held in Sweden ECPAT Australia hosted this the first pacific regional conference on the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation in the Pacific. The proceedings and presentations of the conference are published in this report.
